7 Must-Have Gadget Accessories in 2025

A short list of things that genuinely earn their place in a bag, and a longer list of things that do not. The difference is mostly about removing friction.

7 Must-Have Gadget Accessories in 2025
Accessories are where budgets quietly disappear. Here are the ones that earn their place.
**A 65W charger with two ports.** Replaces the charger and the power bank. If you travel with one cable, you travel with one brick.
**A cable that is not the one that came in the box.** The included cable is the component most likely to fail first. A braided cable with a proper rating is a few hundred rupees for years of use.
**A compact power bank, 10,000mAh.** Enough for one full phone, small enough to forget about.
**A proper phone grip or a case with a raised lip.** Drops are almost always edge-first onto a hard surface. The raised lip is what prevents the screen meeting the ground.
**A microfibre cloth.** Screens are fingerprints. This is the least glamorous item here and the one used most.
**A spare pair of ear tips in the right size.** Half the fit problems people report are resolved by trying the size they were not given.
**A short, tested HDMI cable.** For a projector, a television, or a second screen — the one in a drawer is always the one that does not work.
## What to skip
General-purpose power banks with no output rating printed on them, multi-port chargers that cannot negotiate a proper fast-charge profile, and 'anti-scratch' screen films that scratch in a month.
Buy things that solve a problem you have had in the last month. That rule alone will save you more than any list — including this one.
